Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a School Counsellor to provide emotional and behavioural support to students. You will build trusting relationships, maintain confidentiality, and de-escalate crises, while coordinating with school staff and guardians.

Responsibilities include monitoring at-risk students, conducting well-being programs (SEL and peer support), keeping accurate records, and liaising with external agencies when needed. Diploma required with 2 years' experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Education or related discipline.
• 2 years' relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line emotional and behavioural support to students
• Build trusting relationships and a safe, confidential space for students
• Identify, monitor, and support vulnerable/at-risk students; maintain regular check-ins and track behaviour, attendance, well-being
• Work with Year Heads, School Counsellors, and Discipline Mistress for coordinated support
• Keep accurate, confidential records of incidents, interventions, and progress
• Respond promptly to crises; de-escalate and stabilise students
• Plan and conduct preventive well-being programmes (SEL, Peer Support)
• Communicate sensitively with parents/guardians; coordinate with external agencies when needed
