Qualifications

• Diploma in Social or Youth work or equivalent qualification.
• At least two years of relevant experience in social or youth work.
• Ability to develop and deliver evidence-informed youth programmes.
• Ability to engage students and build partnerships with teachers, leaders, parents and external agencies.
• Strong monitoring and evaluation skills for programme improvement.
• Ability to assess needs and develop appropriate case and intervention plans.
• Ability to facilitate group work and adapt approaches to student needs.
• Team player, organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple programmes.
• Demonstrates professional judgement, discretion and sensitivity with students.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and support student cases with guidance, counselling and engagement activities.
• Coordinate youth programmes addressing students’ needs and interests.
• Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, parents and external agencies as part of a multi-disciplinary network.
• Monitor programme outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
