Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks a disciplined professional to support the Student Management Team with discipline cases, supervision during recess and activities, and detentions. The role requires strong communication, case-management experience and a calm, independent approach.

The contract runs from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027, with an option to extend to 31 October 2028. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (lunch 1 hour); additional hours may be required with one

Qualifications

• Preferably five years working with children or youths from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in discipline, case management or behaviour support is valued.
• Operational, safety and incident-management experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, parents and staff.
• Familiarity with restorative practices and student support frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and stay calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in report writing and MS Office.
• Valid First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one before starting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Student Management Team and teachers with discipline cases.
• Assist with fact-finding, investigations and implementation of discipline policies.
• Conduct walkabouts within school grounds and around the perimeter, monitor entry and exit points, and manage crowd flow at arrival, dismissal and busy activities.
• Respond to emergencies, elevate incidents appropriately and support compliance with school safety rules.
• Maintain student management databases, track attendance, flag persistent absenteeism and prepare reports on discipline trends.
• Coordinate with external agencies such as police and social services when required.
• Identify students needing support, refer them to counsellors or teachers, and build positive relationships that encourage good behaviour.
• Support student briefings and orientations, school operations and other related duties assigned by management.
