Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
- Additional hours may be required with one day's advance notice.
- Service is not required during school holidays unless requested with three days' advance notice.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
Requirements:
- Preferably five years of experience working with children or youths from diverse backgrounds. Experience in discipline, case management or behaviour support is strongly valued.
- Relevant operational, safety and incident-management experience, including experience gained in uniformed services, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, parents and staff, de-escalate conflict and remain calm in challenging situations.
- Familiarity with restorative practices, case management and student support frameworks.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and respond appropriately under pressure.
- Proficiency in report writing, accurate record-keeping and Microsoft Office.
- Valid First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one before starting duties.
Job Scopes:
- 1. Support the Student Management Team and teachers with discipline cases, recess and activity supervision, detention and corrective work.
- 2. Assist with fact-finding, investigations and implementation of school discipline policies; keep case records and communicate agreed updates and follow-up actions to parents or guardians.
- 3. Conduct walkabouts within school grounds and around the perimeter, monitor entry and exit points, and manage crowd flow at arrival, dismissal and busy activities.

- 5. Maintain student management databases, track attendance, flag persistent absenteeism and prepare reports on discipline trends.
- 6. Coordinate with external agencies such as police and social services when required.
- 7. Identify students needing support, refer them to counsellors or teachers, and build positive relationships that encourage good behaviour.
- 8. Support student briefings and orientations, school operations and other related duties assigned by management.
