Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd is seeking an SM Support Officer to assist the Student Development Team in managing student behaviour, supporting daily operations, and maintaining a safe school environment.

You will supervise areas and coordinate incidents, assist with data entry and event facilitation, and uphold firm professional boundaries through a restorative approach during school hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform area supervision and walkabouts during stipulated hours to proactively manage student behaviour.
• Assemble and supervise students during assigned consequences (e.g., detention, reflection sessions, and community service).
• Assist in incident management by conducting preliminary conversations and compiling relevant school records including CCTV footage retrieval.
• Assist with data entry such as compiling late-coming and generating weekly late-coming data for follow-up action.
• Assist with setting up school events and student development programmes, including supervision and attendance-taking during after-school programmes run by vendors.
• Maintain firm professional boundaries and employ a supportive, restorative approach in all interactions with students.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by School Leaders or Key Personnel during working hours.

Job description

The SM Support Officer(SMSO) shall assist the Student Development Team in managing student behaviour, supporting daily operations, and maintaining a safe school environment through the following duties:

• 1.Perform area supervision and walkabouts during stipulated hours to proactively manage student behaviour, including walkabouts outside school at void-decks and playgrounds near the school.
• 2.Assemble and supervise students during assigned consequences (e.g., detention, reflection sessions, and community service), ensuring an orderly and meaningful environment.
• 3.Assist Key Personnel in incident management by conducting preliminary conversations and compiling relevant school records including retrieving CCTV footage for investigation purpose.
• 4.Assist Key Personnel in data entry such as compiling late-coming and generating weekly late-coming data for follow-up action by the SDT.
• 5.Assist with the facilitation of school events and student development programmes as required, including supervision of students and attendance-taking during after-school programmes run by vendor/s.
• 6.Maintain firm professional boundaries and employ a supportive, restorative approach in all interactions with students.
• 7.Carry out any other duties assigned by the School Leaders or Key Personnel during stipulated working hours.
