Job summary

OPERCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a façade design professional to prepare calculations for building façades and perform structural simulations to ensure compliance with building codes.

The role involves collaborating with design teams, PE and AC consultants, and quantity surveyors to resolve façade-related structural issues. The candidate will review architectural drawings, develop practical façade design solutions, and manage BCA submissions while maintaining ISO/OHSAS records.

Qualifications

• Façade design calculations experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of building codes and standards.
• Ability to review drawings and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations for building façades using design software.
• Perform structural calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and specifications.
• Work with the design team and quantity surveyors to resolve structural issues for façade works.
• Review architectural drawings and develop practical façade design solutions that meet the design intent and are buildable.
• Collaborate with consultants, the Professional Engineer (PE), and the Accredited Checker (AC) on structural matters, ensuring alignment with shop drawings for submission.
• Prepare and manage BCA submissions for approval.
• Maintain records in line with ISO/OHSAS procedures.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.
