Job summary

CMC CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a capable Structural/Architectural site supervisor to detail specifications, prepare shop drawings, and coordinate inspections before casting structural elements.

You will highlight discrepancies to consultants and project managers, advise site supervisors, and liaise with sub-subcontractors to align on drawings and work methods. Safety oversight and meeting participation are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, prepare shop drawings, and submit As-built Plans.
• Experience in nursing home, school, or institutional projects preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills to coordinate with clients.
• Initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to multi-task.
• Pre-cast and architectural trades experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Detail study of specifications and drawings.
• Prepare & coordinate inspections prior to casting of any structure elements or installation of Architectural / Structural items.
• Highlight discrepancies of drawings to Consultants & PM / Site Manager.
• Advise site supervisors on findings and comments as instructed by RE or RTO on site.
• Advise and discuss issues with sub-subcontractors on drawings discrepancies to work methodology.
• Inspect all installed items prior to RE / RTO inspection for cast or installation.
• Collate all site reports and inspection forms for installation and documentation.
• Assist supervisors/sub-contractors in leveling and resolving site discrepancies.
• Oversee working methods per safety requirements with input from WSHO on doubt.
• Attend meetings to resolve discrepancies and site issues on Structural or Architectural items.

• Detail study of specifications & drawings
• Prepare & coordinate inspections prior to casting of any structure elements or installation of Architectural / Structural items
• Highlight and present discrepancies of Architectural, and Structural drawings to Consultants & Project Manager / Site Manager
• To advise site supervisors on findings and comments as instructed by RE or RTO on site
• To advise and discuss any items / issues arising with sub-subcontractors on drawings discrepancies to work methodology
• To check and inspect all installed items Structural or Architectural, prior to request of RE / RTO site inspection to cast or proceed with installation
• To collate all reports and inspection forms carried out on site that are necessary for installation and documentation
• To assist supervisors and/or sub-contractors in the formation of levels, settle site discrepancy, site constraints that is within the capacity of a Structural Supervisor
• Assist to oversee the working methods in accordance to safety requirements with advise from WSHO when in doubt
• To attend meetings held to resolve discrepancies and site issues arising on Structural or Architectural items/elements

Requirements

• 1. Ability to work independently, able to troubleshoot, prepare shop drawing for construction, prepared As-built Plan for submission
• 2. Working experience to be preferably in projects involving nursing homes, school and institution construction.
• 3. Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability to handle with clients and co-ordinate works
• 4. Initiative, willingness to learn and able to multi-tasks
• 5. Experienced in pre-cast and architectural trades will be value-added
