Private Advertiser is seeking a Site Coordinator to supervise structural works, ensuring drawings and specifications are followed, and to coordinate inter-disciplinary shop drawings. You will be coordinating pre-inspections with subcontractors and facilitating RE/RTO inspections, while maintaining daily/weekly site schedules.
The role requires at least 2 years in a structural capacity, ability to work in a team, and a proactive approach to QA/QC, inventory control, and safety.
Job Descriptions
Coordinate and supervise structural works and ensure works are carried out are in accordance to drawings, specifications, shop drawings and method statements.
To conduct pre-inspection with subcontractors prior to calling for RE/RTO inspections.
Arrange and facilitate RE/RTO inspections.
To ensure site works are carried out according to daily / weekly site coordination schedule.
Carry out In-process Quality Control inspection from time to time to ensure the quality is within acceptable range.
Report any abnormality on site, such as WSHE, quality, misconduct, delay, etc.
To do proper inventory check to ensure enough materials are available for works.
Maintain site storage facilities for building materials and equipment.
To control and manage SCS general workers.
Control and minimize material wastages.
Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment and daily housekeeping is carried out.
Resolve any site issues faced at the work site. Immediately report to higher management should the issue is beyond the limit.
To plan and coordinate inter disciplinary works and shop drawings.
Receiving materials from suppliers.
To keep site records (daily journal, concrete cubes, DO, etc.).
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor/ Management.
Qualification Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh intake will be considered.
Able to work in a team and cope in a fast-paced environment.
Independent, diligent and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
Relevant qualification / certificates in structural discipline (eg. Diploma, NCCS, BCSS, Safety or Lifting).
