Job summary

LITEC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee civil construction projects on site in Singapore.

You will manage inspections, coordinate with consultants, and drive schedule and cost control to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of project experience, and proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders on complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project environment experience.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, or architectural drawings and specifications for civil/mechanical/plumbing trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inspection records of works, materials and completed works.
• Track variations and contract cost impacts and report to the Project Director.
• Implement cost-control measures to meet project budget.
• Coordinate site with all concerned parties and resolve site issues.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operations per the PM Plan.
• Liaise with consultants on design analysis, design work, design checks for approvals and to resolve on-site issues.
• Site inspections for civil works to ensure execution per project drawings and authorities’ drawings.
• Ensure workers meet quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Control materials, plan the overall schedule and implement planning measures.

Position : Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain inspection records of works, materials and all completed works
• Keeping track on variation and claims of contract and cost impact and feedback information to the Project Director
• Implement cost control measures to meet project budget
• Site co-ordination with all concerned parties and to resolve site issues
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation, according to the Project Management Plan.
• Liaising with consultants on design analysis, design work, design check for approval and to resolve technical issues on site.
• Site inspection for civil work, which includes excavation ,structural, casting and ensure that the work is executed as per the projects specification and construction drawing/final approved drawing from authorities.
• Ensure worker carried out meet out quality standards and contractual requirements.
• To control materials, plan the overall schedule and implement specific planning measures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of project environment experience
• Able to work independently and possess good problem-solving skill.
• Superior civil, structural, or architectural engineering working knowledge of plans, engineering drawings, specifications and schematics associated with the mechanical and plumbing trades
• Computer literacy. Significant experience with Excel, Word, and other computer based tools
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
