Job summary

flintex consulting pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil/structural/MEP projects.

You will plan, schedule and deliver projects within time, budget and client expectations. Responsibilities include coordinating internal resources and third parties, managing design drawings and shop drawings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining project documentation. A minimum of 10 years of project management experience is required with strong communication

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management (or relevant field) is required.
• Solid organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Overall project planning, scheduling and delivery within time, budget, and client expectations.
• Resolve technical and site issues raised by internal team, client, consultants and contractors.
• Set up standard architectural/structural/MEP detailing to be implemented on the project.
• Monitor progress and identify critical activities to ensure on-site progress meets targets.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless project execution.
• Track design drawings and submissions from consultants and ensure accuracy of contractor submissions.
• Coordinate and track shop-drawings approvals from trades.
• Obtain timely approvals from clients and consultants for materials.
• Ensure work is executed per approved plans, specs and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure authorities submissions and clearances align with project schedule.
• Coordinate interfaces between Structure, Architecture, ID, and M&E disciplines.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor progress and allocate resources.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs with proper verification.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Measure project performance and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Oversee construction site safety and compliance.
• Support QS in tender evaluation and technical specifications.
• Provide weekly updates and reports to Management.

Job description

Job responsibilities:

• Overall project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget, and Client’s expectations. Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Resolve technical and site issues bought forth by internal team members, client, consultants, and contractors.
• Setup standard architectural / structural / MEP detailing to be implemented on the project
• Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of works on site to meet targets.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors e.g., Consultants and Sub- Contractors/Suppliers for the flawless execution of all projects.
• Coordinate and track timely issuance of design drawings from consultants; and to ensuring the accuracy of submissions from contractors, vendors, and suppliers for the work to be performed.
• Coordinate and track timely submissions and approvals of various trades shop-drawings
• Obtain timely approvals from client and consultants of all materials.
• Ensure that work is executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that all authorities submissions and clearances are achieved in accordance to the project schedule.
• Ensure seamless coordination and interfacing of Structure, Architecture & ID, and M&E disciplines.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation by developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to projects’ scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Responsible for all construction site matters including safety and other compliance matters
• Support QS team in tender process, analyse and evaluation of tenders and in all technical specification.
• Provide weekly update and reports submission to the Management.
• Report and escalate to Management as needed.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree / Master in Civil Engineering or Project Management or relevant field.
• Proven at least 10 years of working experience in project management in the public and private residential, government and commercial building projects.
• Solid technical knowledge related to structural, architectural (finishing) or M&E works.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.

Mon to Fri 8am - 5pm
