Job summary

LITEC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Steel Structural Engineer to contribute to on-site coordination for steel structures projects.

You will liaise with consultants, clients, main contractors, and authorities, review drawings, and manage site activities to ensure timely, safe completion in line with project plans. The role requires diploma/degree in civil/structural engineering, 2+ years of structural coordination experience, and familiarity with Tekla, AutoCAD, and REVIT.

Job description

Position : Steel Structural Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Candidate must possesses Steel Structures and/or related experience.
• Liaise and coordinate with consultants, client, main contractor, other contractor and authority
• Manage site supervisor and workers to perform according to planning
• To review the shop drawings before submitting to consultants for final approval.
• To coordinate with design consultants for structural submissions to relevant Authorities.
• To review structural submission drawings and design reports prepared by consultants in terms of feasibility for construction.
• To assist the Project Manager in the daily activities of work
• To ensure all works are carried out in line with SCDF health and safety standards in order to provide high quality works in safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with contract specifications and design plans
• Project Planning , coordination and supervision of technical aspects of construction projects
• Conduct joint inspection with RE and RTO
• Able to plan/coordinate site works and resolve drawing details and discrepancies
• Ad-hoc assignment as required by the management

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering / Building
• Min2 years structural coordinator experience
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
• Good communication skills
• Pre-planed prepare construction schedule ,coordinate activities
• Liaise with both internal and external parties for efficiency
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager
• Prefer knowledge in Tekla , Auto CAD and REVIT Software
• NOT for BIM Modeler & Electrical Application
