Job summary

BLUE SKY BUILDER PTE. LTD. is seeking a bar bend scheduler to determine quantities, shapes, sizes and locations of rebar from drawings. You will read structural drawings and prepare cutting lists, and plan rebar schedules for each area.

This role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and the ability to travel between Singapore project sites. Strong independence and bilingual Chinese/English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret structural drawings to quantify rebar quantities.
• Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel to project sites around Singapore.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required.
• Chinese/English language skills (reading & writing) are required for liaison with associates.

Responsibilities

• Handle quantities, shapes, sizes, and locations of rods from drawings.
• Prepare cutting list schedules based on design specs.

• Calculate steel material quantities for design execution.
• Compile and summarize material wastage.
• Generate monthly reports.

Handle and determine the quantities, shapes and sizes and location of the rods from the drawings and sketches

Prepare the cutting list schedule depending on the design specs

Perform advance planning in rebar schedule per area

Perform quantity of steel material needed for the design execution

Can read structural drawing in preparing rebar's quantity

Compile and prepare material wastage summary

Control and minimize material wastages

Generation of monthly report

Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor/management

Must have knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Office

At least 1-2 years’ bar bend scheduler experience

Willing to travel around project sites offices within Singapore

Able to work independently and cope in a fast-paced environment Chinese/English Language （both writing & reading） is needed to liaise with associates in related to job matters
