Job summary

CGW Construction & Engineering (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a meticulous Bar Bend Scheduler who can read structural drawings and prepare accurate cutting lists for concrete reinforcement across projects in Singapore.

You will plan rebar schedules, calculate steel material quantities, minimize wastage and generate monthly reports, while traveling between project sites and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of bar bend scheduler experience.
• Able to read structural drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle quantities, shapes and location of rods from drawings and sketches.
• Prepare the cutting list schedule based on design specs.
• Advance planning in rebar schedule per area.
• Calculate steel material quantities for design execution.
• Read structural drawings in preparing rebar quantities.
• Compile and prepare material wastage summary.
• Control and minimize material wastages.
• Generate monthly reports.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor/management.

• Can read structural drawing in preparing rebar's quantity
• Compile and prepare material wastage summary
• Control and minimize material wastages
• Generation of monthly report
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor/management

• Must have knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Office
• Candidate must complete at least Higher secondary/Pr-U/A level/College
• At least 2-3 years’ bar bend scheduler experience
• Willing to travel around project sites offices within Singapore
• Able to work independently and cope in a fast-paced environment
