CHECC (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an on-site Structural Engineer to supervise and manage all structural steel works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
You will review steel shop drawings, connection details, and fabrication drawings, and coordinate with structural consultants, steel fabricators, and subcontractors to meet project requirements and timelines.

Coordinate with structural consultants, steel fabricators, and subcontractors on technical matters and project requirements.
Monitor fabrication, delivery, and installation of structural steel components.
Ensure proper erection sequence, alignment, and bolting/welding works are carried out correctly.
Conduct site inspections to verify steel installation quality, tolerances, and workmanship.
Coordinate lifting activities related to steel installation in collaboration with the lifting team.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and Singapore regulatory requirements.
Identify and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and site constraints.
Maintain proper documentation, including inspection records, method statements, and reports.
Support project progress tracking and ensure timely completion of steel works.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in structural steel works for building and infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of steel structures, connections, fabrication, and erection methods.
Familiar with shop drawing review, welding standards, and bolted connections.
Understanding of Singapore codes and construction practices is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret structural and steel drawings accurately.
Good coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment.
