Job summary

FU XIANG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control on structural projects.

You will prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and assist in progress claims, VO, and final accounts, while evaluating subcontractor quotations and tender comparisons. Review contracts, drawings, and specs; monitor budgets; verify subcontractor claims; and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in structural works preferred.
• Good knowledge of contracts and QS practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for structural works.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare tender comparisons.
• Review contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor project costs and budgets.
• Verify subcontractor claims and payments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Perform other quantity surveying duties as assigned.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
