Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, monitor, and execute steel fabrication and offshore/marine projects in Singapore. The role involves engineering documentation, material planning, vendor coordination, and close collaboration with internal teams and third-party inspectors.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering (Oil & Gas, Offshore & Marine) and ideally 2+ years in steel fabrication, with proficiency in 2D AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering in oil & gas, offshore & marine industry.
• Preferable with min. 2 years of steel fabrication experience
• Knowledge of project management processes
• Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD (3D modeling a plus), MS Office and MS Project
• Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and procedures, fabrication standards and classification rules
• Knowledge of engineering calculations
• Knowledge of steel materials properties (grade, thickness, EN Standard)
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with people at different levels

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects to ensure completion per specifications, requirements, safety, and schedules.
• Develop construction drawings, methodologies, procedures, and risk assessments for site execution.
• Prepare MTO lists and coordinate with procurement for vendor selection.
• Arrange resources for project execution and coordinate with QA/QC and third-party inspectors.
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders and manage site queries.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE standards and align with fabrication workflows.

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing projects to ensure completion in accordance with project specifications, engineering requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and agreed schedules. The role involves engineering documentation, material planning, fabrication coordination, resource management, and communication with internal departments, clients, vendors, and third-party inspectors.

• Develop construction drawing, construction methodology and procedures engineering calculation and risk assessment for site execution.
• Develop MTO (Material Take Off) list and coordinate with procurement team for the vendor selection.
• Plan and arrange required resources for project execution
• Work closely with QA/QC team for inspection plan
• Work closely with production for fabrication process and project progress.
• Coordinate with QA/QC team and third-party inspector
• Ensure daily work activities incorporates with HSE standard
• Report project progress to all stakeholders.
• Manage project site query.
• Performs any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
