MODIFORM CONTRACTS PTE. LTD. invites a Site Engineer to lead civil and structural works on landed residential projects in Singapore, supervising on-site activities and ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.

You will coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, review drawings, track RFIs, manage inspections, and maintain project progress reports. A Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required.

Competenze

Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project or Site Engineer in civil and structural building construction.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings with knowledge of reinforced concrete, foundations and steel works.
Familiarity with BCA requirements, WSH regulations, and Singapore codes of practice.
Valid ACS/CSOC construction safety certificate or willingness to attend training.

Mansioni

Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil and structural works on site including piling, foundations, RC, and steel across landed residential projects.
Collaborate with structural consultants, architects, M&E engineers, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
Review structural and shop drawings; raise and track RFIs to ensure clarity and compliance.
Arrange and oversee inspections, tests and approvals such as rebar inspections and cube tests.
Monitor progress against schedules; prepare daily and weekly reports and maintain site records.
Manage subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment on site for efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and WSH requirements including risk assessments.
Support quality assurance processes and handover documentation.

Job Summary

Lead and coordinate civil and structural works for landed residential projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations while managing site operations and collaborating with consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil and structural works on site, including piling, foundations, reinforced concrete, and structural steel across multiple landed residential projects
Collaborate with structural consultants, architects, M&E engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues promptly
Review structural and shop drawings and method statements; raise and track Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure clarity and compliance
Arrange and oversee inspections, tests, and approvals such as rebar inspections before casting and concrete cube tests to maintain quality standards
Monitor project progress against programme schedules; prepare detailed daily and weekly reports and maintain accurate site records
Manage subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment on site to ensure efficient operations and resource allocation
Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements, including conducting risk assessments
Support quality assurance processes, defect rectification, and preparation of handover documentation to meet client expectations
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project delivery and site management

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project or Site Engineer in civil and structural building construction
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings with strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, foundations, and steel works
Familiarity with BCA requirements, WSH regulations, and Singapore codes of practice
Valid ACS/CSOC construction safety certificate or willingness to attend training
