SWIFT SEARCH GLOBAL PTE. LTD. in Jurong, Singapore, is seeking experienced Civil & Structural (C&S) Project Engineers to support planning, coordination and execution of structural works for building construction projects.

The successful candidates will work closely with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to coordinate structural works from foundation through project completion, ensuring works are delivered per drawings, specifications, quality standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in civil and structural engineering within building construction.
• Experience with coordinating large-scale residential or building projects is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong coordination and communication with consultants, contractors and teams.

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Civil & Structural (C&S) Project Engineers to support the planning, coordination and execution of structural works for building construction projects.

The successful candidates will work closely with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to coordinate structural works from foundation through project completion, ensuring works are delivered according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

C&S Project Coordination

• Coordinate civil and structural works from foundation through project completion and TOP.


• Review structural drawings, specifications, method statements and relevant technical documentation.


• Coordinate construction activities with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.


• Monitor construction progress, manpower, materials and resource utilisation.


• Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues.


• Coordinate with relevant consultants and authorities on project requirements where applicable.

Technical & Quality Management

• Prepare and coordinate technical submissions, method statements and project reports.


• Ensure structural works are carried out according to approved drawings, design specifications and quality requirements.


• Track Requests for Information (RFIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and related corrective actions.


• Monitor workmanship and follow up on quality-related matters.


• Coordinate inspections and technical requirements with relevant project stakeholders.

Subcontractor & Site Management

• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities and performance.


• Ensure subcontractors carry out works according to approved requirements and project schedules.


• Monitor site progress and support the timely resolution of construction issues.


• Coordinate work sequencing with relevant trades to support smooth project execution.

Project Planning & Reporting

• Support project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring activities.


• Monitor project milestones and highlight potential delays or risks.


• Prepare and maintain relevant project documentation and progress reports.


• Provide technical and coordination support to the Project Manager and project team.


• Perform other relevant duties assigned in support of project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline.


• Relevant experience in civil and structural engineering within the building construction industry.


• Experience in HDB or similar large-scale residential construction projects will be an advantage.


• Good knowledge of structural construction methods, drawings and specifications.


• Experience coordinating structural works from foundation through project completion will be advantageous.


• Able to read and interpret structural drawings and technical documentation.


• Familiarity with RFIs, NCRs, technical submissions and construction quality processes.


• Good project coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills.


• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Able to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.


• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
