ELEC-PRO TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a Civil & Structural Engineer to lead technical reviews, coordinate interfaces, and supervise site implementation for a prestigious public-listed project.

You will ensure compliance with designs, specs, and statutory requirements while coordinating with design consultants, the project team, and subcontractors. The role requires degree/diploma in engineering, local project experience, strong knowledge of structural drawings and construction

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in related Engineering discipline.
• Relevant local-project experience in coordinating and delivering civil and structural works.
• Sound understanding of structural drawings, materials, construction methodology, site inspection, quality control and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Familiarity with applicable local authority requirements, codes, standards and submission processes relevant to the assigned scope.
• Competent in engineering documentation, AutoCAD or equivalent drawing review tools, and common office/project collaboration applications.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication and site problem-solving skills; able to work full-time on the project.

Responsabilités

• Review civil and structural drawings, specifications, calculations, method statements, shop drawings, material submissions and technical proposals for completeness, constructability and compliance.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, architects, M&E team, specialist contractors and suppliers to resolve design, interface, opening, loading, support and sequencing requirements.
• Manage requests for information, technical clarifications, design changes, site instructions and design-development matters, maintaining traceable technical records.
• Plan and supervise C&S site activities, including setting-out interfaces, structural supports, builders’ works, concrete and steel works, penetrations, plinths and associated reinstatement where applicable.
• Carry out site inspections and quality surveillance, verify workmanship and materials, and ensure inspection and test plans, checklists and approved method statements are followed.
• Identify technical and constructability risks early, propose practical mitigation measures and escalation matters that could affect safety, quality, cost or programme.
• Coordinate temporary works and specialist engineering inputs where required, ensuring that submissions and approvals are obtained before execution.
• Monitor C&S progress against the approved programme and support look-ahead planning, resource coordination and recovery actions.
• Verify red-line drawings, as-built records, test reports, certificates and handover documents for the civil and structural scope.
• Support inspections, testing, defects rectification, final acceptance and close-out of all C&S works.

Our Company is working closely with a Prestigious Public Listed organisation in Singapore. Due to our dynamic expansion in projects, we’re looking for Civil & Structural (C&S) Engineer, to be part of the project team, to lead the technical review, coordination, site implementation and verification of all civil and structural elements, ensuring that the Works comply with approved designs, specifications, statutory requirements and good engineering practice.

Reports to the Project Manager. Works closely with the design consultants, site team, safety and quality personnel, subcontractors, vendors and other discipline leads to achieve fully coordinated deliver.

Job Description:
