TONGZHENG BUILDING STRUCTURE AND FACADE SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Structural Designer to support structural design and technical coordination for Singapore projects from tender through execution.

The role emphasizes concept design, analysis, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver safe, buildable structures while aligning with project milestones and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Structural/Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of structural design experience, preferably on complex or international projects.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to conduct technical discussions and client communications in English.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes, analysis methods, and full project lifecycle from concept to construction.
• Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and optimize structural design proposals with input and value engineering recommendations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Designer to assist the structural design and technical coordination of projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in structural scheme development, technical management, interdisciplinary coordination, and ensuring high-quality project delivery from tender through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in structural concept design, structural analysis, and overall technical coordination for projects.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural, façade, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure safe, practical, and buildable structural solutions.
• Preparing and optimizing structural design proposals, providing technical input and value engineering recommendations.
• Manage structural design schedules to ensure timely delivery in accordance with tender and project milestones.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders on structural engineering matters, including technical presentations and design clarifications.
• Review structural calculations, drawings, and engineering deliverables to ensure design quality, compliance, and risk control.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration between design and site execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of structural design experience , preferably with complex or international projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes, engineering analysis, and the full project lifecycle from concept design to construction.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary coordination and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin , with the ability to conduct technical discussions, presentations and client communications in English.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical risks and ensure structural quality and safety on key projects.
• Candidates with relevant international experience are preferred. Overseas candidates with cross-cultural working experience or an international company background are also encouraged to apply.
