Job summary

HY ENGINEERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior structural engineer to lead analysis and design across building and infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in civil/structural engineering.
• 6+ years progressive experience in design and construction in Singapore.
• Expert proficiency in SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS and Revit Structure; deep mastery of local codes and practices.
• Strong leadership, project governance, and cross-party coordination experience.
• Excellent communicator capable of leading technical discussions and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis & design of building, infrastructure, or special structures (RC, steel, composite, post-tensioned)
• Review & endorse design calculations, reports, and drawings; ensure alignment with SS, Eurocode, BCAR, BCA standards
• Manage authority submissions & approvals (BCA, LTA, PUB, SCDF); resolve complex regulatory/technical issues
• Oversee site supervision, quality assurance, contractor coordination, and construction problem-solving
• Mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, drive value engineering
• Represent firm in client/stakeholder meetings; guide project technical strategy & risk management
