Job summary

MEINHARDT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is based in Singapore and seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer with 1–3 years of design experience in consulting. You will design and review high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use projects, ensure compliance with client briefs and ISO procedures, and contribute to design meetings.

The role requires familiarity with European codes and modern design software, with hands-on analysis of large building projects in steel, RC and post-tensioned concrete.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 1–3 years design experience in consulting; fresh graduates considered.
• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial or mixed-use projects.
• Project experience with hospitals, data centres or offices is advantageous.
• Familiar with latest design software and European code; hands-on design of steel, RC, PT concrete.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Directors in performing their duties.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
• Offer suggestions to improve designs.
• Produce sketch drawings.
• Carry out design calculations.
• Check design calculations.
• Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/Client Brief/Approved Concept.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and office standards.
• Check documentation for design compliance.
• Attend and participate in design meetings.
• Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual.
