Job summary

The National Library Board (NLB) in Singapore invites applications for an Assistant Director in the Strategy team within the Smart Nation Group – Digital Government (SNDG). You will lead a small team and help shape digital government strategy across agencies.

You will work with SNDG leadership and GovTech to set priorities, translate policy into digital initiatives, and develop metrics to track progress toward citizen-centred services.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in public policy, strategic planning, tech policy or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Keen interest in technology and willingness to keep up with technological trends.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and refine WOG Digital Government strategies to uplift digital capabilities within Government.
• Communicate Digital Government strategies to a diverse group of stakeholders across Government effectively.
• Design and implement processes that translate strategy into digital transformation efforts across Government agencies.
• Work closely with SNDG leadership to identify strategic goals and priorities, and collaborate with SNDG teams and GovTech.
• Leverage policy and resourcing mechanisms to drive Digital Government outcomes.
• Develop methods and metrics to measure and evaluate progress of our Digital Government effort.
