Job summary

Maersk in Singapore seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end demand-to-delivery for third-party vessel-managed vessels. The role ensures alignment with vessel-owner and operational needs, and oversees RFQs to secure competitive offers and reliable delivery outcomes.

You will optimise vessel budget, follow Procure-to-Pay, and resolve invoice discrepancies while coordinating dry-dock orders with the technical organisation. Strong data-driven improvements will be valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or sourcing.
• Experience in planning and supply chain management within a matrix organization.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end demand-to-delivery for third-party vessel-managed vessels.
• Ensure procurement strategies align with vessel-owner and operational needs.
• Manage RFQs with non-contracted suppliers for competitive offers and delivery.
• Optimise vessel-budget utilisation and follow Procure-to-Pay, resolve invoice issues.
• Coordinate dry-dock orders with technical teams and ensure timely releases.
• Monitor daily operations with data to identify cost and process improvements.
• Improve data quality and reporting with master-data and system teams.
• Build relationships with vessels, superintendents, technical teams and suppliers.
