Job summary

Ambition Group Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a diligent underwriting allocation specialist to strategically assign new business cases.

You will balance case complexity and workload while coordinating with team leads to align allocation with stakeholder expertise. The role requires a minimum Diploma in a related discipline with at least 1 year of underwriting experience and the ability to start immediately or on short notice.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a related discipline is required.
• At least 1 year of underwriting/insurance experience.
• Able to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Strategically allocate cases based on case complexity, workload, and stakeholder expertise.
• Ensure smooth and equitable distribution of cases to stakeholders, optimizing workloads for case clearance.
• Collaborate with team leads and stakeholders to understand needs and preferences for case allocation.
• Communicate allocation decisions effectively to relevant parties.
• Handle administrative tasks related to case distribution and monthly audits while maintaining service standards.
• Perform underwriting profiling for new business cases to support consistent risk assessment.
• Support underwriting-related projects, including meetings, planning, and timely milestone delivery.
• Work with cross-functional teams to provide timely support to internal and external customers and ensure underwriting processes are compliant with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Provide ongoing support to stakeholders, addressing requests and concerns promptly.
• Regularly analyze case allocation data to identify trends and improvement opportunities and make recommendations.
• Provide timely support to meet target service levels (SLA) for customers and stakeholders.
• Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
