Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore is seeking a results-driven business development professional to identify opportunities in Energy & Chemical sectors and translate research outcomes into commercial solutions. You will generate leads, manage executive relationships, and close deals while coordinating with ARTC and sister institutes to deliver long-term growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor in engineering or science field.
Energy & Chemical sector experience is a plus.
Proven track record of closing business deals.
3+ years in B2B BD, enterprise sales or marketing.
Strong business acumen and ability to meet deadlines.
Team player with problem-solving drive.
Excellent presentation and communication skills for management audiences.

Responsibilities

Generate leads and prospect new businesses through networking or other means.
Own customer accounts and strengthen relationships with C/B-level stakeholders.
Build relationships, identify growth opportunities, negotiate and close deals.
Collaborate with the technical team to translate research into viable products.
Lead conversations to capture requirements and prepare project proposals.
Coordinate with ARTC and sister institutes to deliver business solutions for long-term growth.
