Qualifications

• 2 to 6+ years of experience in biotech venture, business development, investment, consulting, or technology commercialization.
• Exposure to venture creation, startup formation, or early-stage investing in biotech/healthcare.
• Familiarity with fundraising processes, investor expectations, and term sheet dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate EDDC programs suitable for spin‑out into venture‑backed NewCos.
• Build and manage relationships with venture capital firms and investors.
• Support licensing, co‑development, and spin‑out transactions.

Skills

Strong ability to translate scientific assets into compelling investment theses

Comfortable engaging both scientific founders and institutional investors

Entrepreneurial mindset

Strong communication and storytelling skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

Education

Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine

PhD, MBA or advanced degree preferred
