Job summary

Red Hat in Singapore is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to serve as a trusted advisor for strategic accounts. You will provide technical and architectural guidance on Platform (RHEL) and OpenShift, while mentoring teams and building strong executive relationships.

You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and support to debug, test, and resolve issues, share best practices, and guide customers through upgrades and cloud platform adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer support, development, engineering, or QA
• Ability to manage and grow enterprise relationships with proactive support
• Outstanding written and verbal communication; convey complex info clearly
• Understanding of enterprise architecture and business drivers
• Ability to manage multiple issues/projects with attention to detail
• Experience with RHEL, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible
• Aptitude to learn container technologies quickly

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow customer relationships by delivering attentive, relationship-based support
• Build trust with customers and act as their advocate within Red Hat
• Perform technical reviews and share knowledge to identify and prevent issues
• Understand customers' technical infrastructures, hardware, and offerings
• Create customer engagement plans and keep documentation updated
• Support enterprise customers implementing automated and containerized cloud platforms
• Investigate and respond to support requests; collaborate with engineering and product teams
• Contribute to knowledge base and share best practices with peers
• Lead internal projects and mentor for technical or process areas
• Deliver portfolio updates and assist upgrades
• Manage customer use cases and maintain case documentation
• Engage with solutions engineering to develop patterns for platform adoption
• Interact with field teams, customers, and partners for cloud experience
• Explain how Red Hat cloud solutions align with customer use cases
• Travel as necessary to visit customers/events in the region
