Job summary

Equiptest Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing/Supply Chain Engineer to lead supplier qualification, onboarding and localization for NPI programs. You will drive First Article Inspection and ensure readiness for production releases, coordinating with Asia-based suppliers to achieve timely qualifications and ramp-up.

The role demands 5–8 years in related fields, strong Lean/Six Sigma capabilities, and excellent cross-functional communication to manage risks and ensure

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in supply chain, operations or manufacturing engineering; industrial equipment/medical/manufacturing exposure preferred.
• Experience supporting NPI programs, supplier qualification, process validation and ramp-up.
• Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience (Green Belt preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification and onboarding for NPI programs.
• Coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) prior to production release.
• Lead onboarding from qualification through production release; ensure readiness.
• Manage supplier localization by transferring parts/processes to Asia-based suppliers.
• Conduct supplier production readiness assessments for launches and ramp-up.
• Provide manufacturing engineering support to ensure processes meet engineering requirements.
• Drive supplier capability and quality improvements via Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supplier process and capability risks with cross-functional teams.
