• Collaborate with NPD to clarify engineering drawing requirements with suppliers.
• Involve suppliers in NPI to review specs for manufacturability.
• Use project management and quality tools to explore cheaper or better processes.
• Support supplier selection to build a competitive supplier base.
• Assist with supplier audits and evaluate performance.
• Help with quality issue resolutions and root-cause analysis.
• Assess technical requirements of new and existing products to identify savings.
• Perform supplier production readiness assessments for new modules.
