Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Solutions Architect to uncover customer pain and tailor Stripe's solutions, mapping transformation journeys and future-state roadmaps that integrate complex third-party systems.

You will collaborate with executives and engineering teams, deliver technical demonstrations, and champion customer requirements to product and engineering. Mandarin-English fluency required.

This role offers exposure to global brands and opportunities to expand Stripe's footprint across markets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a customer-facing engineering role (sales engineer, pre-sale solution consultant, or solutions architect).
• Strong English and Mandarin communication for enterprise Chinese merchants in China.
• Executive engagement skills and the ability to build credibility with decision makers.
• Effective group-facilitation and leading customer meetings for strategic footing.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and APIs; coding background in Stripe languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute meticulous technical discovery through in-depth business analysis and competitive landscape research.
• Lead strategic engagements, guiding users through discovery and presenting technically sound, customer-aligned solutions.
• Identify and articulate expansion opportunities to extend Stripe's footprint into new markets and business units.
• Represent the Voice of the Customer to product and engineering, prioritizing requirements for future development.
• Provide technical counterpoints to sales, detailing Stripe's merits and benefits for platforms and end users.
• Craft and deliver compelling demonstrations showing how Stripe solves the customer's business problems.
