Job summary

Thales in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Solution Architect to design high-performance architectures for air traffic management, using Java, JavaFX and distributed systems.

The role offers opportunities to upskill during a 6-8 week learning mission at our AMS Headquarters in Singapore, with immediate contribution.

You will lead engineering teams, drive DevOps practices, and collaborate with product and operations to deliver safe, reliable aerospace software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of Java Core, Swing, JavaFX and JUnit.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on DevOps, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• ATM domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable distributed software architectures for ATM systems.
• Provide technical leadership through the full development lifecycle.
• Define technology strategy and evaluate new tools and frameworks.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers.
• Collaborate with product, operations and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure seamless integration and verification of third-party and legacy systems.
• Create and maintain architectural diagrams and design documents.
