Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Contract Buyer (Procurement / Raw Materials) in Singapore to manage purchasing of raw materials and manufacturing supplies. The role is based in Changi, with a 12-month contract and a salary range of S$4,500–S$6,000 per month.

Responsibilities include supplier management, cost negotiations, inventory monitoring, and collaboration with production, logistics and quality teams. Occasional evening calls with overseas stakeholders may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on procurement experience required.
• Strong experience in supplier and vendor management.
• Manufacturing / raw material procurement experience strongly preferred.
• Able to attend occasional evening calls with overseas stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of raw materials and manufacturing supplies.
• Prepare purchase orders, quotations and procurement documentation.
• Manage suppliers, negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels, material shortages and outstanding orders.
• Coordinate with production, logistics and quality teams.
• Analyse purchasing data and support cost-saving initiatives.
