Job summary

KTC CIVIL ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support pre- and post-contract activities in Singapore. The role involves cost estimation, tender preparation, contract review, and timely payment processing for subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent.
• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Analytical and meticulous with strong negotiation skills.
• A dynamic, positive and forward-thinking personality; able to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quantity take-offs and cost comparisons for major trades.
• Assist in establishing client requirements and feasibility studies.
• Prepare tender submissions, including cost estimates and supporting documents.
• Submit tenders and follow up on clarifications or queries.
• Review contract documents and identify risks or concerns.
• Prepare and process payments for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and submit progress claims to clients.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage variation works.
