Job summary

ADEPT MANPOWER (ASIA) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed estimates, manage budgets, and support tender processes for construction projects in Singapore.

You will analyze costs, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and clients is essential to project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and legal considerations.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of building regulations and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses.
• Assist in tender documents, including bills of quantities and specifications.
• Evaluate tenders, providing recommendations.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and scopes of work with clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders.
• Manage and minimize costs, ensuring the project remains within budget.
• Conduct financial assessments and valuations of work in progress.
• Prepare interim and final accounts, ensuring timely payments.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements.
• Provide advice on contractual and legal matters related to cost management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
