Qualifications

• Background in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or related discipline.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in journalism, public relations or government communications.
• Strong project-management and analytical skills with timely delivery.
• Experience translating business needs into clear communications plans.
• Confidence working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience pitching to technology or business reporters is an advantage, but not required.
• Curiosity about the technology and media industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver public communications plans based on business priorities and programme needs.
• Coordinate communications with internal teams, agencies, ministries and industry partners.
• Review information from different sources to help shape public messaging and narratives.
• Support media briefings, pitches, interview requests, speaking points and speeches.
• Build awareness of business policies, programmes and initiatives.
• Work across teams to align communications plans and messaging for intended audiences.
• Manage external agencies, vendors and suppliers to support communications work.
