Job summary

SUNNINGDALE TECH LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to support program management, tooling coordination, and production optimization. You will work with BD, production, and suppliers to ensure smooth launches and efficient layouts.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong English communication. Healthcare exposure is a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of project management & production processes.
• Good verbal and written English.
• Independent, initiative and able to multitask in fast paced environment.
• Experience in handling Healthcare product is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist BD Director in managing program issues and correspondences.
• Coordinate with tool and assembly equipment suppliers for smooth program launches.
• Design work flows and optimise production layout with production department to improve machine efficiency.
• Source tooling and components quotations from suppliers for initial project start up.
• Work on new quotation and packaging requirements for new parts.
• Support production and quality departments to troubleshoot processing & quality issues pertaining to plastic parts.
• Monitor and track progresses on the program activities.
• Provide customer support and response to customer inquiries on time.
• Update all tooling activities and bill of materials and project review records.
• Follow up and track on engineering changes for each tooling.
• Coordinate all mold trials activities.
• Design and work with supplier for jig and fixture required for secondary processes.
• Prepare periodically tool-life report for customer.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.
• Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives
