Job summary

SUNNINGDALE TECH LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to support program launches, design workflows, optimize production layouts, and coordinate tooling and components sourcing.

You will work with production, quality, and suppliers to troubleshoot issues, monitor progress, prepare tool-life reports, and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management and production processes.
• Good verbal and written English communication.
• Independent, proactive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with healthcare products is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist BD Director in managing program related issues and correspondences.
• Coordinate with tool and assembly equipment suppliers to ensure smooth program launches.
• Design workflows and optimise production layout with production to improve machine efficiency.
• Source tooling and components quotations from suppliers for initial project start-up.
• Work on new quotations and packaging requirements for new parts.
• Support production and quality departments to troubleshoot processing and quality issues on plastic parts.
• Monitor and track progress on program activities.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries on time.
• Update tooling activities and BOMs and project review records.
• Follow up and track engineering changes for each tooling.
• Coordinate all mold trials activities.
• Design and work with suppliers for jigs and fixtures for secondary processes.
• Prepare periodic tool-life reports for customers.
