Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Planner for a precision machining company serving the Oil & Gas industry to keep schedules realistic and deliveries on time.

You will coordinate workflows across ERP, MES and scheduling systems, build feasible production plans, and resolve bottlenecks to protect commitments. The role requires a Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, BOM and drawing literacy, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Competence in reading BOMs and engineering drawings.
• Sound grasp of process operation sequences.
• Clear verbal and written communication with good interpersonal skills.
• Composure under pressure and a sense of urgency.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Know workflows between our ERP, MES and scheduling systems.
• Build schedules that balance resource availability, constraints and customer due dates.
• Refine plans to lift efficiency and protect delivery commitments.
• Spot bottlenecks early and clear them.
• Compare planned against actual output, adjusting plans when conditions change.
• Reserve machine capacity based on sales forecasts.
• Liaise with other departments to keep execution smooth and resolve issues.
• Host weekly review meetings with stakeholders.
• Prepare capacity and on-time delivery reports.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
