Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Planner to translate orders into practical production and material plans at our Macpherson site. You will develop schedules, manage material requirements, and ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with Sales, Procurement, and Production teams.

The role demands 3–5 years in production planning, hands-on MRP and ERP experience, and a degree in Engineering or related field. Strong analytical and cross-functional skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

Min. Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Min. 3-5 years relevant experience in production and material planning preferably in manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience in production scheduling, MRP and material planning.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, LN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Translate customer orders and forecasts into practical production and material plans.
Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, material availability and leadtimes.
Execute ERP/MRP planning to ensure timely material availability and production readiness.
Plan material requirements and manage inventory to prevent shortages, excess and obsolescence.
Monitor demand, supply, inventory and production constraints, and proactively adjust plans to minimise disruptions.
Manage rescheduling and planning changes to support on-time delivery and changing operational priorities.
Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Production, Engineering and Logistics to resolve planning issues and support on-time delivery.
Provide clear and timely delivery commitments and planning updates to Sales and Business Units.
Support ECO/ECN and NPI activities by assessing production capacity, material requirements and planning impact.
Identify and implement improvements in production planning, MRP, inventory control and S&OP processes.
Track key planning KPIs, including on-time delivery, inventory performance and planning responsiveness.
Support ERP, digitalisation and other initiatives to improve planning efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in planning and review meetings, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
