Job summary

Leung Kai Fook Medical Co Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Senior Production Planner to convert customer demand into practical production and material plans. You will manage scheduling, MRP and inventory while collaborating across functions to ensure material readiness and on-time delivery.

You will drive improvements in planning processes, support ERP initiatives and contribute to digitalisation efforts to streamline operations in a regulated medical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in production and material planning in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on production scheduling, MRP and material planning experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, LN) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across functions.
• Experience in regulated, automated or high-volume manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer orders and forecasts into practical production and material plans.
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, capacity, material availability and lead times.
• Execute ERP/MRP planning to ensure timely material availability and production readiness.
• Plan material requirements and manage inventory to prevent shortages, excess and obsolescence.
• Monitor demand, supply, inventory and production constraints, and proactively adjust plans to minimise disruptions.
• Manage rescheduling and planning changes to support on-time delivery and changing operational priorities.
• Work with Sales, Procurement, Production, Engineering and Logistics to resolve planning issues and support on-time delivery.
• Provide clear delivery commitments and planning updates to Sales and Business Units.
• Support ECO/ECN and NPI by assessing planning impact.
• Identify and implement improvements in planning, MRP, inventory control and S&OP.
• Track KPIs like on-time delivery and inventory performance.
• Support ERP and digitalisation initiatives to improve planning efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in planning and review meetings with data-driven insights.
