Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a purchasing officer on a 1-year contract based at Kaki Bukit. The role focuses on sourcing quotations, processing requisitions and POs, coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery, and conducting vendor assessments.

You will support tender purchasing from sourcing to award, ensure compliance with purchasing policies, prepare monthly spending reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Formación

• Vendor management experience is required.
• Solid knowledge of purchasing principles.
• Supply chain knowledge is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Source and compare quotations, pricing, terms and product/service quality from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Process purchase requisitions, quotations and Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate with requestors, logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment.
• Conduct vendor assessment, qualification and subcontractor induction.
• Support tender purchasing from sourcing and evaluation to award.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly spending/savings reports and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify and propose purchasing process improvements.
• Support ad hoc projects and activities as required.
