Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a capable procurement professional for a 1 year contract based in Kaki Bukit. You will source quotations, process POs, coordinate with logistics and suppliers, and ensure timely delivery while upholding purchasing policies.

Responsibilities include supplier evaluation, cost-saving initiatives, monthly spending reporting, and supporting tender purchasing from sourcing to award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Knowledge in elevator and escalator industry.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Sound knowledge of Purchasing principles.
• Supply chain experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Source and compare quotations, pricing, terms and product/service quality from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Process purchase requisitions, quotations and Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate with requestors, logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment.
• Conduct vendor assessment, qualification and subcontractor induction.
• Support tender purchasing from sourcing and evaluation to award.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly spending/savings reports and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify and propose purchasing process improvements.
• Support ad hoc projects and activities as required.
