Job summary

Svanehøj Group is seeking a procurement professional to handle the purchase of components and products, convert PRs to POs in ERP, and coordinate with supply chain planners in Singapore. You will expedite PO management, ship docs, and assist with supplier quality issues.

The role requires a Diploma in engineering or business, plus 1+ year in supply chain/procurement, and bilingual English/Mandarin for liaising with Chinese and European suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Business Management.
• Knowledge and min 1 year experience in Supply Chain / Procurement.
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP system.
• Experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge in vendor management.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin as this position is require liaising with Chinese & Europe suppliers.
• Attention to details.
• Knowledge in incoterms will be advantages.
• Ability to read drawings will be advantages.
• Raw material processes knowledge will be advantages.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchase of assigned components and products and supporting daily PR/PO fulfilment process.
• Convert auto Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order in ERP system using TCO model if necessary.
• Daily communication with Supply Chain Planners for order status and production/sales priorities.
• Expedite PO management and shipping documentations from suppliers.
• Support and coordinate pre-shipment samples for purchased raw materials.
• Resolve quality issues with the supplier.
• Update the PO status in ERP promptly.
• Support development of key strategic suppliers.
