Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Procurement Officer to source and manage suppliers for a consistent material supply in manufacturing operations. You will drive strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and relationship management to improve efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities cover supplier selection, contract terms, cost savings, and coordinating with internal teams to align forecasts, inventory, and production schedules while ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• AS9100 or ISO 9001 familiarity preferred.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers to meet quality, cost, delivery, and reliability requirements.
• Execute procurement strategies to maximize savings through supplier promotions and rebates.
• Assess supplier products for specifications and commitments.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate terms, and issue purchases within approved limits.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules.
• Track purchase orders and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Explore alternative suppliers to reduce disruptions and maintain continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance on Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Flexibility.
