Job summary

searchasia consulting pte. ltd. is seeking a seasoned procurement leader in Singapore to develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy aligned with growth and franchise expansion. The role will manage supplier networks and negotiate major contracts to improve cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in Strategic Sourcing, with demonstrated experience in F&B/franchise/QSR sectors and a strong track record of delivering value across regional or global markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing.
• F&B/Franchise/QSR experience.

• Develop and execute the overall procurement strategy aligned with growth and franchise expansion.
• Lead sourcing strategies across key categories including F&B ingredients, raw materials, packaging and store equipment.
• Build and optimise a regional/global supplier network with qualification and performance management.
• Lead major supplier negotiations and contracting to drive cost savings and margin improvements.
• Partner with franchisees and leaders to support new market entry and localisation requirements.
• Identify supplier risks and establish dual/alternative sourcing with contingency plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall procurement strategy aligned with business growth, franchise expansion and long-term commercial objectives.
• Lead sourcing strategies across key categories including food and beverage ingredients, raw materials, packaging, consumables, store equipment and other operational requirements.
• Build and optimise a strong regional/global supplier network, including supplier identification, qualification, performance management and development of alternative supply sources.
• Lead major supplier negotiations and contracting while driving cost savings, total cost of ownership improvements and margin enhancement without compromising quality or service.
• Partner with franchisee and business leaders to develop sourcing and procurement solutions that support new market entry, store expansion and localisation requirements.
• Identify sourcing and supplier risks, establish dual/alternative sourcing strategies and develop contingency plans to ensure reliable supply across markets.
