Job summary

UPS Sweden, a unit of United Parcel Service, seeks a quotation and pricing specialist to manage commercial bids, review pricing, and analyze costs. You will bridge sales, operations, finance and product teams to drive deal closure and revenue growth.

Responsibilities include managing quotation workflows, building pricing models, and delivering accurate pricing proposals. A degree in business/finance, advanced Excel skills, and 2–5 years in logistics quotation work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Finance or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced functions, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
• 2‑5 years of logistics / freight forwarding quotation‑related working experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of logistics cost structure, tender & bidding process, and commercial risk control is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work cross‑functionally with product, sales, and operations teams to support bidding and commercial initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations, lane Managers and product teams to understand service features and cost structure, ensuring alignment with quotation requirements.
• Conduct market rate research and competitive benchmarking to assess opportunities and gather customer, commercial and cost insights.
• Manage quotation in pricing systems and offline templates to support quotation execution.
• Develop commercial pricing logic, margin thresholds and pricing guidelines to support deal differentiation, and execute commercial strategies.
• Build pricing and costing models using historical financial data and forecasting tools.
• Prepare and present pricing proposals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to stakeholders including leadership team.
• Track, analyze, and report quotation volume and progress, win‑rate and margin performance metrics to drive profitable deal conversion and improve quote turnaround efficiency.
• Support pricing issue resolution.
• Support sales teams through training in pricing tools and quotation templates to improve sales effectiveness.
• Support process enhancements to improve quotation efficiency.
