Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth in Singapore seeks a policy professional for the Resilience and Engagement Division to strengthen national identity, social cohesion, and belonging.

You will design sense-making mechanisms, engage government partners and citizens, and develop policies to improve integration of newcomers while reinforcing Singaporean identity. The role emphasizes cross-agency collaboration, rigorous data analysis, clear communication, and practical policy solutions.

• Data-driven analysis to inform policy recommendations.

• Clear and concise writing for policy briefs and reports.
• Design for implementation and communications considerations in policy work.
• Understanding of Singapore's political and social context.

Responsabilités

• Develop understanding of concerns on the ground and drivers of integration outcomes and drivers of Singaporeans' sense of national identity.
• Monitor and analyze the state of integration between locals and newcomers in Singapore and Singaporeans' sense of national identity.
• Develop and review policies and programmes to improve integration outcomes and national identity, coordinating with other government agencies.
• Staff committees that coordinate and drive the agenda on integration and national identity, such as the National Integration Council.
• Engage non-government stakeholders to co-create solutions and drive efforts to integrate newcomers into Singapore society.
• Oversee the legislative framework and guidelines governing the use of Singapore's National Symbols.
