Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field; postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• 8–10 years of work experience in strategic planning and related fields.
• Experience in higher education or public service is advantageous.
• Experience in strategic/corporate planning and cross-functional events.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and provide options with pros and cons.
• Excellent executive writing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build trust without formal authority.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with data visualization and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and implementation across departments aligned to university priorities.
• Support senior leadership in strategy formulation and executive meetings.
• Monitor and evaluate progress of the Strategic Plan and initiatives.
• Prepare evidence-based strategic reports and coherent narratives.
• Environmental scanning, benchmarking and policy analysis for higher education.
• Act as a strategic business partner to SOCIs, coordinating cross-functional issues.
• Support corporate planning and performance management frameworks like the BSC.
• Facilitate performance reviews and align budgets with outcomes.
• Develop executive dashboards and trend analyses for decision making.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
