Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking a Senior Assistant/Assistant Manager in the Planning & Risk Management Department to shape and drive strategic planning, monitor performance, and generate insights for management decisions.

You will work with multiple units to translate trends into coherent strategies and ensure alignment of plans with organizational priorities, while engaging stakeholders across the institution.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in strategic planning or corporate planning.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear insights and recommendations.
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across levels.

Responsibilities

• Support development and review of NYP’s strategic direction by analysing external trends and priorities.
• Monitor the implementation of NYP’s strategic priorities and align plans with outcomes.
• Drive institution-level planning and engagement activities, including annual work planning, retreats and townhalls.
• Analyse institutional performance data to identify insights and implications for leadership.
